Flavours with a Story to Tell
Our multi-course dinner menus invite you on a carefully curated journey through the flavours of the North, celebrating seasonal ingredients at their very best. During the winter season, alongside our signature multi-course menus, guests may also choose from a small à la carte selection, offering a more flexible way to enjoy Utsu’s cuisine. Dinner is served in the upstairs dining room with two evening seatings at 5:00 PM and 8:30 PM.
For those visiting during the festive period, Restaurant Utsu presents a special Christmas dinner. Guests begin with a buffet of seasonal starters, followed by main courses and desserts served at the table, blending tradition with elegance. The Christmas menu is available in two seatings, at 4:30 PM and 8:00 PM.

During winter season (Nov 10th to Apr 5th) Utsu is open for dinner from 5:00 PM to 11 PM (kitchen closes at 10 PM). The serving times for upstairs area are 5:00-5:30 PM and 8:30-9:00 PM. The same menu is also available downstairs, with table reservations between 6 PM and 8 PM.

Breakfast with a View
Our breakfast is thoughtfully prepared to delight every guest, blending Nordic flavours, fresh local ingredients and timeless classics. From warm, hearty dishes to light and refreshing choices, it offers the perfect way to welcome the Arctic morning. Enjoy your meal in a tranquil setting, with panoramic views that make each bite all the more memorable.
Breakfast is also available to visitors who are not staying with us, at a price of €24.00 per person. Reservations should be made in advance through our reception.
Breakfast is served from 8 AM to 10 AM during the autumn (Sep 27th to Nov 30th).
From Dec 1st til the end of the season breakfast is served from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM.

Private Evenings in the Kota
Next to Restaurant Utsu, a traditional Sámi-style Kota provides a warm and intimate setting designed for just two guests. Here you can enjoy the exclusivity of a private dinner, prepared and served by your own personal chef, with a bespoke menu created to suit your tastes. Surrounded by the soft glow of the fire and the timeless atmosphere of the Kota, this is a truly romantic experience to cherish and remember. The private evening must be reserved in advance.

Lunch with a Northern Touch
From December to March, we serve a daily 2- or 3-course lunch and soup of the day, thoughtfully prepared and brought to your table. Can you cater for special diets?
Yes, we are happy to cater for special dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free, or allergy-friendly meals. To guarantee the best possible arrangements, we kindly ask guests to inform us of any dietary restrictions in advance.
Our chefs create seasonal menus that can always be tailored to vegetarian or vegan diets. We take pride in designing flavourful and creative dishes that reflect the richness of Lapland’s ingredients while meeting dietary preferences.
Is there separate menu for children?
Children (4 – 12 y.o.) can enjoy the same menu with smaller portions for half price. Also, we serve children´s portion of the day, which is local fish or meat with potato pyre. Special diets and allergies are taken into account when informed in advance.
What are the opening hours of Restaurant Utsu?
At Restaurant Utsu, we serve a delicious breakfast daily, which is also open to guests not staying with us.
A table-served lunch is available daily from the beginning of December until Easter, between 12:00pm and 2:30pm.
In autumn, our restaurant is open in the evenings from 5:30pm to 10:00pm, and from November onwards from 5:00pm to 11:00pm.
Starting from mid-November, we offer two dinner seatings upstairs: at 5:00pm and 8:30pm.
Downstairs, by the cozy fireplace, you can enjoy the same menu between 6:00pm and 8:00pm.
During autumn, fixed dinner seating times are not in use.
We highly recommend making a table reservation in advance.

What are the restaurant options on site?
There is only one restautant, Restaurant Utsu, at Levin Iglut and Utsuvaara fell area. You can find more restaurant and cafe options in Levi centrum, which is located 9 km from Levin Iglut.

Lunch and dinner are served at our own Restaurant Utsu, located right next to the igloos. Utsu is a glass-roofed, two-storey restaurant known as one of Levi’s finest dining destinations, offering seasonal multi-course dinner menus and, from December to spring, a table-served lunch. The atmosphere combines refined flavours with warm hospitality, panoramic fell views and even the chance to watch the Northern Lights while you dine.
In addition, Levi centre — just 10 km away — offers a wide variety of restaurants, cafés and bars, giving you plenty of options to explore the local food scene. Whether you prefer to stay close and enjoy Utsu’s acclaimed cuisine or discover Levi’s diverse dining opportunities, you will find memorable flavours to match your stay.
