Events to be remembered

At Levi Igloos, each season brings with it unforgettable events to share and enjoy together. From festive celebrations to world-class sports, there are many moments that make a stay in Lapland even more special. Our festive dinners are always in high demand and tend to sell out quickly, so we warmly recommend reserving well in advance. For those wishing to witness top-level competition, tickets for the Levi World Cup races are already available through the official event website.

Michelin-Star Guest Chef Experience at Ravintola Utsu | March 11–13, 2026

In March, Ravintola Utsu will welcome a very special guest as Michelin-starred chef Sasu Laukkonen arrives in Levi for an exclusive culinary visit from March 11–13, 2026.

Over the course of three evenings, guests will enjoy an exceptional dinner experience co-created by Chef Laukkonen and the Ravintola Utsu kitchen team. The menu combines Laukkonen’s refined Nordic gastronomy, pure flavors, and the finest seasonal ingredients with the unique atmosphere of Lapland. The result is a carefully curated dining journey where each dish tells a story — of nature, craftsmanship, and balance.

The wine pairing has been designed in collaboration with Antti Paasonen from Collusion Wines. Thoughtfully selected wines and beverages complement the nuances of the menu and elevate the overall experience.

This limited-time guest chef event offers a rare opportunity to experience Michelin-level gastronomy in the heart of Lapland.

Availability is limited — we warmly recommend securing your table in advance.

Christmas at Levi Igloos

On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (24–25 December), the spirit of Christmas truly comes alive at Levi Igloos. Santa Claus himself will visit our guests in the cosy kota at scheduled times, creating a magical moment for both children and adults alike. The exact visiting hours will be confirmed by our reception so that every family has the chance to meet him in person.

To complement the celebration, we invite you to join our special Christmas dinner. The evening begins with a buffet of seasonal starters, after which main courses and desserts are elegantly served at the table. The menu is designed to blend festive tradition with the refined flavours of Lapland, creating a dining experience that feels both comforting and extraordinary.

The Christmas dinner is priced at €98 per adult and €35 per child under 13, with two seating times available at 4:30 PM and 8:00 PM. Menus will be finalised and published closer to the holiday, but we warmly recommend reserving early, as these cherished evenings are always in high demand.

New Year’s Celebrations

On New Year’s Eve, we welcome our guests to celebrate the turning of the year with a festive five-course dinner, created especially for the occasion. On this evening there is no à la carte service, allowing our chefs to focus entirely on crafting a memorable dining experience that combines seasonal flavours with a touch of celebration. The 5 course table served menu is priced at €95 per adult and €47.50 per child under 13.

Upstairs seatings are available at 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM, with additional dining times arranged downstairs to ensure that every guest can join in the celebration. After dinner, as midnight approaches, we invite everyone to gather outdoors for a spectacular fireworks display, lighting up the Arctic sky to welcome the New Year in unforgettable style.

Menu will be finalised and published closer to the holiday, but we warmly recommend reserving early, as our New Year celebration evening is always in high demand.
