Our carefully curated wine list features handpicked selections from small, trusted Old World producers, each chosen to harmonise with the flavours of our seasonal menus. Every label on the list has been selected with thought and care, reflecting both the craftsmanship of the winemaker and the spirit of our kitchen. Guests wishing to elevate their dining experience can indulge in a dedicated wine or beverage pairing, thoughtfully created to complement and highlight each course in turn.

Sustainability is at the heart of our drinks philosophy. Inspired by our zero-waste approach, the cocktail menu makes creative use of ingredients that might otherwise go to waste, resulting in drinks that are both inventive and responsible. Alongside this, our wine list embraces organic, biodynamic and natural wines, reflecting a commitment to purity and respect for nature.

In place of bottled water, we serve only the purest Finnish water, drawn directly from our Thoreau tap. Finland is renowned for having some of the cleanest water in the world, and we are proud to offer it to our guests in the most sustainable way possible. To conclude the meal, enjoy our own signature coffee blend, roasted exclusively for us by Robert Paulig Roastery, a blend designed to perfectly complement the flavours of the North and leave a lasting impression.

Each autumn our team gathers berries and mushrooms from the surrounding fells, preserving them to be enjoyed throughout the year. We emphasise local production and prepare everything from scratch, from daily baked sourdough and dark malt bread to seasonal dishes created with care and precision.

We are equally committed to a zero-waste approach, ensuring that every ingredient is used thoughtfully and often in inventive ways across our courses. Special diets and allergies are always respected, and with advance notice our menus can be tailored to meet even the most specific wishes, allowing every guest to experience the essence of Utsu’s cuisine.

The restaurant works a lot with local products and also caters to individual wishes/allergies etc. The staff is super friendly and explains in detail what you will find on the plate. The quality is very high and everything was super delicious. I would go there again anytime."
